Our databases use Visual Basic programming (as used by Microsoft Office applications) and Microsoft's Access 2000 Developers Edition run-time version. We also build our databases with an eye to the future. If your database requirements grow beyond 30 concurrent users and 2 gigabytes of data, it can be readily upsized to Microsoft's SQL Server, an Enterprise client/server database that will manage thousands of users and terabytes of data.
